HPS board to meet Monday

The Henryetta Public Schools Board of Education will hold a special session Monday, Oct. 30, at 12 p.m. at the board office, 1600 W. Gentry.

Agenda items will include an executive session to interview candidates for the 2024-2025 school year and a discussion on the selection process.

After returning to open session and the reading of the executive session minutes compliance statement, the meeting will adjourn.

The search is underway for a new district leader as current Superintendent Dewayne Noble plans to retire at the end of the current school year.
