The Okmulgee County Commissioners heard from Josh Fugate of Orion Security Solutions and Tom McDermott from CEIA, a designer and manufacturer of electromagnetic inspection equipment, during their meeting Monday. Commissioner Erik Zoellner touted the technology at previous meetings, and invited local schools and law enforcement entities to the informational meeting at OSUIT.
“We’re not here to sell anything. It’s just to educate you and answer all your questions,” McDermott said before going through a number of slides, explaining the levels of detection provided by the device – from pocket knives to “mass casualty” devices.
