Friends, family, colleagues and community members gathered Friday afternoon on the campus of OSUIT to honor Dr. Bill R. Path on his retirement as president of the college. Claudette Butcher, executive assistant to the president, welcomed over 100 guests to the event held in the State Room. Dr. Path has spent over 38 years in higher education, with the last 12 years at OSUIT. He extended this thanks to the administrators, faculty and staff, along with the community, all who have left a mark on him and the university. He plans to remain an active part of the community during retirement.
