Chamber plans movie, Monster Mash and more
The Henryetta Chamber of Commerce has announced the free movie that will be shown next weekend.
But first, it’s time for the Cruise Knight this Saturday, from 6-10 p.m. in downtown Henryetta. This will be a fun-filled event with cars, food and vendors.
Next weekend, Saturday, Oct. 21, the Chamber will host a movie night, with a showing of Disney’s “Haunted Mansion.” Thanks goes out to sponsors First National Bank, Bravado Wireless, One Fire Casino and ecoLink.
The event will be set up in the Territorial Park starting at dark. Everyone is invited to bring their snacks, soft drinks and lawn chairs and enjoy the movie.
The following weekend, the Chamber will hold a Monster Mash in downtown Henryetta.
During the Mash, there will be carnival games, candy, a corn maze, pumpkin decorating, a live DJ and food vendors.
It is completely free to attend and is open to all age groups.
Vendors are needed to help make this event a success. According to Director Genny Mooney, the event begins at 6 p.m. with vendors setting up at 5 p.m. Chamber members can set up for free; non-chamber members can have a space for $25.
A variety of games, events and contests are on tap for that event and it is open to all age groups.
Those attending are urged to come in costume to the event.
The annual Trick or Treat on Main Street, where candy will be passed out, will be held on Oct. 31.
