James Gordon Dixon, Sr. was born Monday, April 19, 1943, in Liberty to the late W.W. and Clara Leslie (Bandy) Dixon. He passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023, in Tulsa at 80 years of age.

Friends may visit the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home, 421 South Hughes in Morris, on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. The family receives friends from 5-7 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 21, 2023, at Liberty Baptist Church, with Reverends Steve Treagesser and Jeff Ward officiating.

April 19, 1943 – September 17, 2023

There will be lunch served for family and friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Liberty Baptist Church or Liberty Cemetery.
