Gilbert Palacios, 35, of Henryetta, passed away on September 11, 2023, in Tulsa. A funeral mass was held Monday, September 18, at 11 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church in Henryetta.

Gilbert was born on September 9, 1988, in Laredo, Texas to Leticia Rivera and the late Henry Palacios. He grew up with his two brothers, Albert and Rafael, and his sister, Roxanna. He was engaged to Elizabeth Jean Mott and had two children, Delilah Valentina and Angelo Don.

Gilbert loved serving his community by delivering food to the elders. He also loved playing video games with his family, playing basketball with the kids, telling stories to them, and cooking delicious meals. He had a big heart and never judged anyone. He devoted his life to spending time with his family and making them happy.

Gilbert is survived by his wife Elizabeth; his daughter Delilah; his son Angelo; his grandmother Genoveva Rivera Lopez; his mother Leticia; his stepfather Jose Arechiga; his brothers Albert and Rafael and their families; his sister Roxanna and her family; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Henry Palacios and his grandfather Jesus Rivera Areńano.

Gilbert will be greatly missed by all who knew him and remembered for his kindness, generosity, humor, and love.
