The Henryetta Territorial Museum had a busy couple weeks for their volunteers, who cleaned the archway and used about 400 bricks to finish it.
The Golden Pony Casino had a 2014 Ford Mustang to give away. People had from Aug. 31 through Sept. 21 to submit daily entries, and two entries were available Saturdays.
Members of the Ithana Club of Henryetta took a tour of Philbrook Museum before they headed to Tulsa. The group also made a stop at OSUIT to have lunch with students of the Chef School.
25 Years Ago:
Kelly Ogg, Administrative Assistant and Public Relations Director for the Henryetta Medical Center, accepted a check for the Hospital Foundation.
The Orphan Family performed at the Henryetta High School auditorium for Labor Day weekend.
Midway Groc. and Deli installed a notouch car wash and held a grand opening, running a coupon in the paper to save $1.50 on any purchase.

The Dewar-Henryetta chapter of Young Homemakers of Oklahoma met at the home of Mrs. Bobby Fry for their regular monthly meeting.
The club announced Mrs. Carol Scott as the chapter’s new co-advisor.
Coleman’s gave a Labor Day Salute to Henryetta in the paper for their Labor Day festivities.
Golden Pin Bowling ran an ad in the paper for people to come and have fun bowling or to take bowling lessons.

The Morgan held its 6th Annual Paramount Week. Henryetta joined in on the national demonstration of the better motion for the week.
Wagoner’s Bookstore sold all the schoolbooks and supplies children needed for school.
Henryetta City Schools opened for the year on Sept. 10 and registration took place Wednesday through Saturday afternoons before.
