Miss Mace got a bit of a makeover, thanks to The Barking Barn. Mace is Henryetta Public Schools therapy dog (in training) and The Barking Barn is just one of the many sponsors for her care. The groomers decided to do “themes” for each of her grooms. This one is “Back to School.” Counselor Jennifer Huckabay shared the new Miss Mace with HPS students who loved the new look. Anyone wishing to help sponsor Mace in any way can contact Henryetta Schools for more information and keep up-to-date on where Miss Mace will be next. Also, the Henryetta Free-Lance and Okmulgee Times newspapers are still collecting pet food and dog treats not only for Miss Mace, but for Okmulgee Schools’ Leo and Morris Public Schools’ Shadow and Kalani as well.
