Okmulgee County Emergency Management (OCEM) is pleased to announce an upcoming Volunteer Meeting on Monday, Aug. 21, at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the OCEM Offices located at 110 N. Alabama in Okmulgee. All community members interested in contributing to their county’s safety and well-being are encouraged to attend.
The meeting aims to showcase the diverse volunteer opportunities available within Okmulgee County, allowing residents to actively participate in various projects that enhance the community’s readiness and response capabilities. As natural disasters and unforeseen emergencies can strike at any time, the spirit of volunteerism plays a crucial role in ensuring the county’s resilience.
