The Henryetta Civic Center was the chosen location for U.S. Congressman Mark Wayne Mullin as he made a pit stop to talk with Henryetta locals.
Integrity Funeral Home added 10,000 square feet to their Henryetta facility, so they held a grand opening.
More than 2,000 free field trips were offered at the Gaylord-Pickens Oklahoma Heritage Museum.

Henryetta Middle School held their 6th grade orientation in the cafeteria.
A big blood drive was being scheduled at the civic center.

U.S. Congressman Clem McSpadden greeted Okmulgee County Democratic Co-Chairman Edna Burton during the County Democratic Dinner held in Henryetta.
Henryetta High School Band parents hosted an ice cream social.
An Economic Development Agency grant was underway for the remodel of the Henryetta Water Plant. The work need consisted of replacing water pumps and motors, remodeling the water plant building, installing a conveyor system for sorting chemicals, constructing two new sludge ponds, replacing the water treatment cells and laying new waterlines.

One of Henryetta’s most daring automobile thefts recorded happened at 11:30 a.m. when someone stole Henryetta lawyer D.E. Ashmore’s Dodge Touring car after he parked it in front of his office in the Buchanan building.
