First Family Federal Credit Union won 3rd place in the Henryetta Chamber of Commerce Window Decorating Contest. With a patriotic theme, FFFCU focused on the military. According to Amber Mordecai, employees and board members were asked to bring military items to display. She added to the windows to tie in the upcoming FFFCU Labor Day weekend car show on Main Street. “Little cars brought to display loaned by a fellow coworker Mylena Poulton,” Mordecai said. “We have had people stop by and look through the windows at all the details and I love it. We hope they keep coming to look at our windows. The best part is, we were able to donate the $75 we won to the Henryetta VFW to help with their flag fund.” Read more about the contest and its winners on page A6 of today’s edition.
