The Okmulgee County Genealogical Society held their first in-person meeting Monday at the Okmulgee Library. This is the first one since 2021, when COVID-19 led them virtually instead. The mayor of Grayson, Leon Anderson, was the speaker for the afternoon. He gave the members some lesser known facts about the history of Oklahoma, including information about Grayson and other historic black towns.
