Elizabeth Ponthieux, receptionist for the Henryetta Free-Lance and Okmulgee Times, presents 2023 Henryetta High School graduate Mabrey Been with the Herman L. Brown Memorial Scholarship.The scholarship, administered through the Okmulgee High School Alumni Room, is presented in memory of the longtime editor and sports writer for the newspaper. Mabrey has enrolled at the University of Central Oklahoma, where she will be majoring in Mass Communication – Professional Media this fall. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Justin Been.
