Chamber event is Aug. 5 at Nichols Park
Attendees wishing to obtain tickets for the 7 Hills Music Fest can now do so online.
The Henryetta Chamber of Commerce board of directors held their monthly meeting Monday, with members of the Events Committee revealing more details about the upcoming event to be held at beautiful Nichols Park.
The 7 Hills Music Fest is planned for Aug. 5, from 4-10 p.m. featuring five musical guests.
Valerie Mosco and Kelly Dobson, of the Henryetta Chamber Events Committee, explained that the name of the festival came to be because of where Henryetta is located, “between seven hills.”
Though the event will be in the heat of summer, “it’s going to be worth it,” Mosco said. This is a family event, so they encourage everybody to come out and just enjoy a good evening of music, fun, games and food.
There will be several cooling stations, lots of water will be available, and attendees can bring blankets or lawn chairs in order to enjoy the music.
G ates will open at 3 p.m. however Nichols Park will be closed that day to allow setup of the venue, beginning at 8 a.m. Music begins at 4 p.m.
The 7 Hills Music Fest lineup includes Drew Baldridge, Showdown, One Nation, Henryetta’s own Lance Gouge, along with the Brent Giddens Band, who many are very familiar with.
Tickets are $35 in advance or $50 at the gate. Children ages 12 and under will get in free with an adult ticket holder accompanying them.
Mosco also announced that the link is now available to purchase tickets online at https://www.ticketsource.us/ booking/t-yagxmqp or scan the QR code with your cell phone camera. Online tickets are $35 plus a small processing fee.
Local sponsorships are being obtained to help with the cost of the festival, which is between $20-25,000, and an expected attendance of at least 2,500.
Volunteers will be needed to help make this festival a success, so be looking for more information soon from the Henryetta Chamber, and keep up to date on their Facebook page.
