Monday was the second meeting for the kids of the summer reading program at the Henryetta Public Library. Kathy Crosby talked to the kids about how helping others can change the world. She told them it was important to help others and spread kindness. She read to them Ordinary Mary’s Extraordinary Deed by Emily Pearson. She also encouraged them to read other books about how other people have helped others. The kids then made kindness bracelets, one to keep and one to give away. Next week, she’s going to talk to them about the importance of making friends. Come and see what fun she has in store for you.
