Citizens looking to rid themselves of unwanted junk can do so at an upcoming event.
During Tuesday’s Henryetta City Council, the members approved the clean up days for July 14 and 15.
Approval was given to obtain up to 25 roll-off containers to be placed at 2nd and Broadway (The Broadway Exchange).
On Friday, residents can bring up to two loads of items to be disposed of from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday, the time will be from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
In order to use the service, you must bring a recent Henryetta water bill.
No car batteries, tires or chemicals will be accepted.
The City of Henryetta will have an employee on hand with a front-end loader to ensure the dumpsters are filled to capacity.
The council approved $12,125 for 25 dumpsters, if all were needed.
Previously, the clean up project had been held behind the Henryetta Farmers Market area; however, it was decided to move it to the location at 2nd and Broadway.
