Chamber event is Aug. 5 at Nichols Park
The Henryetta Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce an upcoming musical event at Nichols Park.
The 7 Hills Music Fest is planned for Aug. 5, from 4-10 p.m. featuring five musical guests.
At Tuesday’s council meeting, Valarie Mosco and Kelly Dobson, of the Henryetta Chamber Events Committee, sought the council’s approval for use of Nichols Park for the musical event, though not on the scale of last year’s Highway to Henryetta event.
Nichols Park will be closed that day to allow setup of the venue, beginning at 8 a.m. Gates will open at 3 p.m. with music beginning at 4 p.m.
The 7 Hills Music Fest lineup includes:
• Drew Baldridge
• Showdown
• One Nation
• Lance Gouge
• Brent Giddens Band The music fest will also have family fun activities, vendors and food.
Tickets are $35 in advance or $50 at the gate. Children ages 12 and under will get in free with an adult ticket holder.
Work has been going on for several months to plan this exciting event. Local sponsorships are being obtained to help with the cost of the festival, which is between $20-25,000, and an expected attendance of at least 2,500. Information on how to obtain tickets will be coming soon. See the Henryetta Chamber of Commerce Facebook page for updates as the event nears.
