HPL Summer Reading Program Kicks Off

The kids met Monday for the first time at the Henryetta Public Library for the Summer Reading Program. Kathy Crosby, Assistant Librarian, talked about the importance of being kind to others. She encouraged the kids to read books about kindness. She read to them The Big Something by Patricia Reilly Giff. She then had the kids paint kindness messages on rocks. A great time was had by all. The kids will meet again at the library from 1-2 p.m. next Monday. Come and enjoy the fun.
