“The Scriptures say, ‘Our lives are like the grass of spring, and any glory we enjoy is like the beauty of a wildflower. The grass dries up and dies, and the flower falls to the ground. But the word of the Lord lasts forever.’ And that word is the Good News that was told to you.” (1 Peter 1:24-25) We have been gifted life. The funny part of that is we see only a portion of our entire life when we’re talking about our time as a resident of this world. There is an eternity that still awaits us after we shuffle off this feeble, mortal coil. We have to decide in just the few years given us what we want our permanent address to be. The catch on that is this: How many years do we have?
