Walking the Cross

Members of the Henryetta New Life Recovery Family, under the direction of Recovery Pastor Brad Campbell, met at noon on Good Friday, April 7, at Braum’s. As has been the custom for several years, the group walks the Cross of Jesus Christ down Main Street from Braum’s to Rocky’s Phillips 66, and then back to Braum’s. “The group is so happy to celebrate their new life of freedom in Christ over drugs, alcohol, pornography, grief … all kinds of life’s hurts, habits and hangups,” Marcus Whitworth, Sr. stated. The group has Recovery Meetings every night of the week and meets twice each Saturday. All are welcome to come study and practice the Bible-based Christian 12 Steps of Recovery.
