The Henryetta Lady Knight varsity golf team began their 2023 season last Wednesday at the Sperry Invitational, which was held at the Rock Creek Golf Course in Sapulpa.

The Henryetta Lady Knight varsity golf team began their 2023 season last Wednesday at the Sperry Invitational, which was held at the Rock Creek Golf Course in Sapulpa.
Out of 17 teams, the Lady Knights finished fifth overall with a team score of 402.
Bishop Kelley was the team champion with a team score of 320, followed by Holland Hall in second with a team score of 370. Junior varsity teams from Stillwater (380) and Owasso (397) finished just ahead of Henryetta in the team standings.
Individually, the Henryetta girls golf squad was led by senior Skylar Morris with an 18hole total of 92, which was good enough for 12th overall out of 112 golfers. Sophomore Breea Stockholm was next individually for the Lady Knights in the season opener in 18th place with an 18-hole score of 98, followed by senior Mabrey Been in 20th overall at 100.
Sophomore Abby Pemberton rounded out the Henryetta indivdual scoring last Wednesday with an 18-hole score of 112, which was good enough for a 56th-place finishing.
The Lady Knights were back in action Monday at the Skiatook Invitational at Owasso’s Bailey Ranch Golf Course.
