Iven Thomas was born on May 6, 1941, in Batesville, Ark. to Cecil and Ina Thomas. He passed on February 10, 2023, in his home.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Weeletka, with Rev. Dewayne Davis and David Swift officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Weleetka. Services are under the care and direction of Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta.
