School started this week for some area schools, the rest will start next week. I don‘t know about the kids in your life, but the ones in mine are always starving when they get home – starving like they haven’t eaten in a week. Kids can be so dramatic. A lot of today’s snacks from the store though have extra sugars, dyes and artificial flavors you don’t really want your get eating. I thought this would be the perfect time for a column about after school snacks!
