Funeral services for Jerry Ray Shoemake, 79, lifelong resident of Morris, will be held Saturday, July 9 at 10 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church in Morris. A reception will follow. Services are under the direction of McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
Funeral services for Jerry Ray Shoemake, 79, lifelong resident of Morris, will be held Saturday, July 9 at 10 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church in Morris. A reception will follow. Services are under the direction of McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
Mr. Shoemake was born April 1, 1943 at the family home in Morris to Luther Preston and Mavis Gill (Harbison) Shoemake and died July 3.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Don Shoemake.
Survivors include his wife, Lynda Shoemake; a brother, Max Shoemake and wife Phyllis; sister-in-law, Nancy Shoemake; niece, Kristy Huckabee and husband Willie; nephews, Kevin Shoemake and wife Nancy, Steven Shoemake and wife Kristie and Stuart Shoemake and wife Trisha; seven great nephews, two great nieces, six great great nephews, one great great niece and a host of other family members and friends.
