Preston Holds Lil’ Pirates Basketball Camp

Area children, grades 2nd-8th grade, were at the Jim Waller Sports Complex in Preston on Wednesday for the first day of the 2022 Preston Little Pirates Basketball Camp. The 3-day camp is conducted by Preston basketball coaches Chase and Rylie Littlejohn with help from current Preston varsity basketball players to teach campers the fundamentals of the game of basketball. There are two sessions each day of the camp with the 2nd-4th grade campers being taught from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and the 5th-8th grade campers being taught from 1-4 p.m. Pictured on this page are action shots from Wednesday’s morning session.
