A Dandy in Dewar

Wiley Ryal Park and Al Kessel Field in Dewar were the sites of the 37th Annual Joe Fowler Gumbo Classic baseball and the 2022 Dewar Invitational slowpitch softball tournaments last Thursday-Saturday. Okmulgee County was well represented at the annual tournaments in Dewar with four softball teams (Okmulgee, Dewar, Morris, Preston) and three baseball teams (Dewar, Morris, Henryetta) being among the list of talented programs to take part in the 3-day events. The host Dewar Dragons and Lady Dragons kept the team championship trophies in house, winning their respective tournament title games.
