Last weekend’s party was a good one. I have to admit though, I struggled a little - ok, maybe a lot. Not seeing Dad with a beer in his hand and mingling with his ‘brothers’ was hard and several times I needed to step outside for fresh air and to calm down so I wouldn’t break down. I want to thank Donna for all of her help in setting up! I know she reads my column so she will see this. She came down for three days and helped each evening so we could get set up for the party and would be ready to go. It was a great relief this year to have the added assistance and I feel like it didn’t take us as long as it usually did. So thanks Donna and Greg and some of the others who came to help!
