Bisquick is a premade baking mix. It contains flour, fat, leavening and salt, all of the dry ingredients you would normally have to add individually to your cooking. It’s a convenience, a way to shortcut the cooking process. You take a cup or two of Bisquik and add liquids and you have an easy crust or pancake or muffin. You get the idea. There are many ways to use this. Growing up, Bisquik was a staple in our home. We mainly used it for drop biscuits but, occasionally, I would cook dinner using it. Taco Bake was always a favorite in our home.
