Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) Trooper Warren reported a structure fire near Bristlecone Road just west of Hwy. 75 between Henryetta and Okmulgee Monday evening. Due to an enormous smoke blowing across the roadway, the southbound lane of Hwy. 75 was closed at 5:33 p.m. After three hours and 22 minutes, OHP reopened the roadway at approximately 8:55 p.m. Wilson Volunteer Fire Department reported the fire was at a salvage yard where first responders reported the blaze started from an explosion. Three Wilson firefighters were treated on scene for heat-related issues. Other responding fire departments were Henryetta, Dewar, Schulter and Okmulgee.
