There will be a gifted and talented meeting at 4:30 Thursday, Sept. 27, in the Henryetta Elementary Cafeteria.

Title I Parent Meeting

There will be a Title I parent meeting at 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, in the Henryetta Elementary Cafeteria.

Oct. 6

Dewar Harvest Festival

The Town of Dewar will be having their annual Dewar Harvest Festival from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Sat., Oct. 6 on Broadway Street. For more information call 918-652-4042.

Grayson Gumbo File Festival

The town of Grayson will be having their Gumbo and Line Festival from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Sat., Oct. 6. For more information contact Leon Anderson at 918-906-6299.

St. Michael Spaghetti Dinner

St. Michael Catholic Church will be having their annual Fall Spaghetti Dinner from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Sat., Oct. 6. Dinner will include spaghetti with one large meat ball, salad, garlic bread, dessert, and a drink. Additional meatballs will be extra. Delivery is available in town. For delivery orders call the day of the event at 918-652-3445.

Oct. 13

Cruise Knight

The next Henryetta Cruise Knight is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Sat. Oct. 13, on Main St. Bring the whole family out for a night of fun.

Oct. 20

Henryetta Arts and Crafts Fall Bazar

There will be a Henryetta Arts and Crafts Fall Bazar from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Sat., Oct. 20, at the First Baptist Church Gymnasium, located at 420 W. Trudgeon. If you would like to be a vendor at the event contact Denise Frost at 918-629-0004.

Henryetta Public Schools "will not" have the after school program (HASP) this school year 2018-2019.

PC Memories

PC Memories is a non-profit corporation that has 25 FREE refurbished desktop computers to give out in July to low income families, adults, veterans, and seniors, in Okmulgee County. Applications for assistance can be picked up at the Henryetta Public Library and Okmulgee Public Library. Deadline to receive post marked applications is June 30. Al-anon Meetings

Al-anon Family Support Group will meet at 7 p.m., every Tues., at the First Christian Church located at 5th and Cummings.

Monthly VFW Meeting

The Henryetta VFW Post 539 will have a meeting the 1st Tues. of every month. All veterans are encouraged to attend. For more information contact Bill Goodner at 918-652-7103.

Weight Watchers

Weight Watchers meetings are Thurs. evenings with the check in starting at 5:30 p.m. and meetings starting at 6 p.m. at the Tulledega Hills Baptist Church, 3000 W Main.

Lost and Found NA

A non-smoking NA meeting is now available four days each week at the First Christian Church, Okmulgee, on the corner of 8th and Seminole Streets. Meetings will be at 7 p.m. on Mon., Thurs., and Fri. and at 2 p.m. on Sat. Entry is around the back and down the stairs.

Hoffman Fellowship

Hoffman Fellowship is a smoke-free, alcohol-free, and family oriented event. The center is now open on Sat. at 5 p.m. For more information, call Ruby at 918-652-8440.

American Legion Post 85

Monthly meetings for members of the American Legion Post 85 are the first Monday of each month at 7 p.m. Membership is open to all eligible veterans. The American Legion is located at 601 E. Frisco Ave, Henryetta. For information call 918-652-9421.

OSUIT offers Free GED Classes

Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology is offering free GED classes through their Adult Basic Education program. Classes are on Mon., Tues., and Wed. from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Dewar Indian Community Center and Tues. and Thurs. from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., at the Henryetta High School Stem Building. Serenity Club AA

A non-smoking AA meeting is now available four days each week at the First Presbyterian Church, Okmulgee, on the corner of 9th and Seminole Street. Meetings will be at 7:30 p.m. on Mon. and at 12:30 p.m. on Tues., Wed., and Fri. Entry is through the north door on 9th Street. Need a ride? Call Leo at 918-304-7984.

Cub Scouts Meet

Henryetta Cub Scouts will meet each and every Mon. night at the First Baptist Church across from Homeland at 6:30 p.m. Any boy in grades 1-5 are welcome to come join the Scouts.

Bingo at the Elks Lodge

The Elks Lodge holds Bingo every Tues. night at the Lodge, 701 South Mission. Bingo is open to the public. Doors open at 5 p.m. Bingo begins at 7 p.m. Snack bar available.

Project H.E.A.R.T. Serves Lunch to Senior Citizens

Project H.E.A.R.T serves lunch Mon. through Fri. of each week at the Senior Nutrition Building located at 211 S. 11th Street in Henryetta. The meal is served each day at noon. The only guideline is that you must be 60 years of age. They also deliver meals to those who are homebound within the Henryetta area. For more information, please call 918-652-3086.
