Guest speaker at the Aug. 22 Henryetta Rotary Club regular meeting was Morris resident, Holly Dunn. A MSW Medical Stabilization Withdrawal Program Service Coordinator, Dunn began working for Hillcrest Hospital in Henryetta earlier this month. She has various administrative duties and also works with acquiring grants. The Medical Stabilization for Drug and Alcohol Withdrawal at Hillcrest offers in-patient medical stabilization services for adults who plan to detox from dug and alcohol abuse. The program is voluntary. Patients in the program are treated for alcohol, methamphetamines, cocaine, opiods and other prescription medications. “There have been over 5,000 patients seen in the detox program. It’s something (the program) we take pride in. It is the first step and is life-changing,” Dunn said. For more information about the program, call Hillcrest-Henryetta at 918-652-1372.
