Henryetta Economic Development Authority (HEDA) approved a payment of $10,000 to the Henryetta Chamber of Commerce at their regular meeting on Aug. 13.
Henryetta Economic Development Authority (HEDA) approved a payment of $10,000 to the Henryetta Chamber of Commerce at their regular meeting on Aug. 13.
The payment is for support of the Jim Shoulders monument that will be located at Nichols Park. HEDA approved the funding at the July 9 regular meeting.
Board members approved the minutes of the regular meeting on July 9 and the July 2018 financial report.
Discussion was held regarding reimbursing the City of Henryetta in the amount of $10,027.05 for Shoney’s Restaurant sales tax for April 1, 2018 through June 30, 2018. The reimbursement was approved.
Other agenda items discussed included the sewer project, motel feasability study, Jim Shoulders Monument Project and the Quick Trip Project.
HEDA funding for sewage connections as part of the Exit 237 sewage project easement mediation was also discussed. Board members present were Jill Francis, Jim Beemer, Jennifer Clason, Ron McAfee, Keith Estes, Roy Madden and Bruce Jones. There being no new or old business, the meeting adjourned.
