Would you like a chance to appear in a feature film? Freihofer Casting is seeking rodeo fans in Okmulgee County for various roles for Friday, Aug. 10 and Saturday, Aug. 11.
According to Freihofer, a mixture of African-American and Native American rodeo fans of all ages are needed to appear this Friday and Saturday in the major feature film, “Bull.”
Filming will be in Okmulgee.
Cast needed for Friday for the role of “inmates” include African-American, Hispanic or Native American males, ages 20 to 60. Call time will be at 4 p.m.
Female cast needed for Friday are African-American between the ages of 10 and 65 for the role of “singers.”
For the role of weekend rodeo fans for both Friday and Saturday, Friehofer is seeking Native American, Hispanic or African-Americans of all ages who are available to work both days and wear the same clothes. Work times will be Friday from 7:30 p.m. to midnight and Saturday from 7:30 p.m. to 4 a.m.
The film has mostly been shot in Houston, TX. and is now filming additional scenes in Okmulgee. It is produced by Monique Walton, Heather Rae and Ryan Zacarias. It is written and directed by Annie Silverstein.
According to Walton, the film is being supported by the Sundance Film Festival and the Cannes International Film Festival.
The storyline includes: In a near-abandoned subdivision west of Houston, a wayward teen runs headlong into her equally willful and unforgiving neighbor, an aging bullfighter who’s seen his best days in the arena; it’s a collision that will change both of them.
Pay for extras is $58 for up to 8 hours of work. There will be no overtime and all extras will be paid in cash at the end of the work day.
All minors must be accompanied by adults and families are welcome to submit applications together.
