A special Back to School display will be featured on the Shoney’s property on East Main Street in Henryetta. In order to celebrate students returning to school, Shoney’s owners Doug and Nancy Wadley enlisted the artistic help of Vernon Britt. Britt, Doug Wadley and Shoney’s General Manager Lester Sullivan are pictured with the unique and amazing display which features the Shoney’s mascot, a large Back to School-themed sign and hand-painted “book” bricks. In celebration of Back to School, Shoney’s is offering half-price meals for all children under the age of 10 – all day every Wednesday – throughout the month of August.
