Two Henryetta graduates closed out their high school athletic careers this week, competing at the Oklahoma Coaches Association's All-State Games in the Tulsa area. Abbi Green represented Lady Knight athletics at the 2018 All-State Golf Games at the Cherokee Hills Golf Course in Catoosa on Monday, while Summer Bryant represented HHS at the 2018 All-State Tennis Games at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Tulsa. At the All-State Golf event, Green was paired up with Eufaula's Hannah Sullivan as part of the East All-State golf team. The duo battled Brooke Orr of Frederick and Mikaela Rinderman of Mount St. Mary in a match-play format, which featured six holes each of a scramble, best ball, and alternating shot format. The 2-player team that won each six-hole format received one point, totaling three possible points, while the team with the best score received one point, making each All-State match worth four points. Green and Sullivan battled their West opponents on the 18-hole course, but found themselves on the short end of a 4-0 defeat. Green and Sullivan finished with an 18-hole score of 86, while their West foes carded an 18-hole score of 74. At the All-State Tennis event, Bryant competed in a Singles match for the East squad, taking on Grace Johnson of OKC Crossings Christian, then paired up with Grace Whitten of Metro Christian to battle Johnson and Elizabeth Dillingham of Enid in a Doubles match. In her Singles match against Johnson, Bryant fell to her Crossings Christian foe by an 8-1 score. Bryant and Whitten then dropped an 8-3 decision to their West opponents in their Doubles contest.
