A Morris man is facing child sexual abuse charges in Okmulgee County District Court.
After issuing a felony warrant on July 20, the District Attorney’s office arrested Mark Branson, 53, on two counts of child sexual abuse (CF-2018-195).
According to court documents, on May 8, Morris Police Officer Ishanta Shoals spoke to one of the victims, confirming reports received about the sexual abuse. Three days later a forensic interviewer further confirmed the allegations against Branson.
Branson is being held in Okmulgee County Jail on a $500,000 bond and will face his first court appearance on July 26 before Judge Pandee Ramirez.
