The fall sports schedules for Henryetta Public Schools were recently released for the 2018-19 school year.

The athletic programs in the Fall at HPS include fastpitch softball, football, and cross country for both high school and junior high.

The first fall sport program to kick off the 2018 season will be fastpitch softball, which will begin its 2018 campaign August 6 at Preston. The Lady Knight junior high squad will take the field against their county foes at 4:30 p.m. followed by the high school diamond team battling the host Preston Lady Pirates at 5:45 p.m.

The following day (August 7), the fast-pitch squads will travel to Okmulgee for their second battle with a county opponent to begin the 2018 season. The junior high will kick off the road meeting with the host Okmulgee Lady Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. followed by the high school county showdown at 5:45 p.m.

The next fall sports program to get their season started in 2018 will be cross country. Both the junior high and high school teams will open 2018 August 18 at the Holdenville Invitational. The lone home meet for the Henryetta runners will be September 8 at historic Nichols Park.

The Henryetta varsity football team will begin their 2018 campaign August 31 at home against arch rival Morris. The county showdown at historic Cameron Field is set for a 7 p.m. start time.

The junior high and junior varsity will begin their 2018 season September 4 at Okmulgee and a county showdown with the Okmulgee Bulldogs. The junior high contest will get underway at 5 p.m. with the junior varsity game to follow at approximately 7:15 p.m.
