Graham-Dustin Public Schools will begin classes on Thursday, Aug. 9. Teachers and staff will report to work on Monday Aug. 6.
The school recently announced their school supply lists for all grades (Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade) for the 2018-2019 school year.
For Pre-Kindergarten through 4th grades, each student must have crayons, glue sticks, scissors, a pencil box, filler paper and Kleenex in addition to the following items.
Pre-Kindergarten – 2 folders, 1 antibacterial wipes, 1 box of Band-Aids, 1 backpack, 1 ream of copy paper, 1 container of baby wipes, 1 quart Ziploc bags and 1-inch 3-ring binder (hardback).
Kindergarten – 1 backpack, 2 tubs of PlayDough, 3 large containers of wet wipes, 1 package of copy paper, 1 two-pocket folder and 1 box of Ziploc bags.
First Grade – 1 backpack, 1 package of pencil top erasers, 1 package of unopened baby wipes, 1 package of quart-size Ziploc bags, 1 package of copy paper, One 120-page wide-rude notebook paper and 1 two-pocket folder.
Second Grade – 2 pink pearl erasers, 1 bottle Elmer’s glue, 1 set each of addition and subtraction flash cards, 1 package 10-count Crayola Classic color broadline washable markers, 1 package 80-count baby wipes (girls), 1 roll of paper towels, 1 package of copy paper, 1 package of 80-count Clorox wipes (boys), 1 backpack and earbuds for computer class.
Third Grade – 2 pink erasers, 6 folders with clasps and pockets, 1 box quart-size Ziploc bags, 1 container of antibacterial wipes, 1 package of dry erase markers (optional), 1 three-ring binder and earbuds.
Fourth Grade – 1 three-ring binder (1.5-inch), 1 package of red pens, 1 box of markers, 1 ream of copy paper, 2 pink pearl erasers, 1 box of colored pencils, 1 ruler, 1 box Ziploc bags, 1 package of baby wipes, 1 package Lysol/Clorox wipes and ear-buds.
Students in 5th through 7th grades must furnish paper, pencils, folders, Kleenex and notebooks in addition to the following items.
Fifth Grade – 2 pink erasers, 1 ream of copy paper, 1 package of antibacterial wipes, 1 folder and earbuds.
Sixth Grade – 1 pink eraser, 1 package of copy paper, 1 container of hand wipes, 2 plain folders and earbuds.
Students in 7th through 12th grades must furnish paper, pencils and notebooks (supplies listed are for homework use) in addition to the following items: 1 package of loose-leaf paper, 1 composition notebook, 1 notebook per class, 1 package of ink pens, 1 package of pencils and earbuds.
